These Terms and Conditions are between Global Phones & Security cc (www.globalsec.co.za) (hereinafter "Global Phone & Security", "Global Phone & Security cc", "globalsec.co.za", "we", "our" or "us") and you, our Customer (hereinafter "Customer", "you", "your" or "yourself").

How to Make an Online Purchase | Top

  • First REGISTER, or LOG ON if you are already registered.
  • Click on the items you wish to purchase and then click the ADD TO CART button.
  • If necessary, you may remove or adjust the quantity of an item any time; click on the UPDATE button to finalize an adjustment.
  • If the quantity has been adjusted, you will need to click on the UPDATE button, or the adjustment will not be updated.
  • At this point you can choose between REMOVE, UPDATE , or CONTINUE
    • if you tag REMOVE, you can remove that item completely from your shopping cart;
    • if you select CONTINUE,  you can add more products to you shopping cart;
    • if you select CHECKOUT, you will be asked for your billing and delivery address details.
  • Your order details and Order Number will be confirmed at the end of the order process and you will be sent a Confirmation Email to the email address you provided.

  • You can choose to pay by credit card, bank/internet transfer, or cheque.

Credit Cards

  • We accept Visa and Master Card.
  • You may choose to send your credit card information by calling us at +27 12 548-5281 or +27 12 548-5283, or by using our secure online payment service.

Bank/Internet Transfers

  • Please enter you order details (Order Number) and phone number as reference.

Cheques

  • All cheques must be made payable to Global Phone & Security and mailed to:

    Montana , Gauteng , 0151.

  • Along with your cheque, please send us a printout of your Confirmation Email or a clear, handwritten replica of the order, with all the order information, including your Order Number, name and surname and/or company name, contact details (including phone, fax, email and delivery address) the items you purchased, prices you paid, VAT and total. (Your order details and Order Number will be confirmed at the end of the order process and you will be sent a Confirmation Email.)
  • To get an update on your order status, you may Contact Us, or call us at +27 12 548-5281 or +27 12 548-5281; you will need to quote your Order Number to get an order status update.
Back Orders | Top
  • If your item is not in stock, we will put your order on our back order system.
  • You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, otherwise we will email  you when the item is in stock.
Tax Charges and Receipts | Top
  • All sales are subject to 14% VAT.
  • We will send you a VAT Invoice/Receipt by email after your order has been shipped.
Credit Card and Personal Information Security | Top
  • When you enter personal information during the checkout process, your data is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure safe transmission.
  • GlobalSec.co.za orders are processed on a secure server using SSL data encryption.
  • You know that you are on a secure server when you see the SSL "Lock" image somewhere in your browser window, and that your transaction is secure. The "Lock" image shows in different locations, depending on the browser you are using. In Internet Explorer, the SSL "Lock" image shows at the bottom of the browser window for older versions and at the top of the page for newer versions (near the web address).
  • SSL ensures your credit card details and personal information are encrypted when the order is placed.
Guarantee | Top
  • Products are covered by the Manufacturer's warranty or guarantee.
  • Where possible, we will indicate the period of the warranty on our Web site.
  • Some warranties may require you to return the item directly to the manufacturer, while others to Global Phone & Security, if you are making a warranty claim.
  • We refer to our Return Policy, as stipulated below.
Remittance Terms | Top
  • Ownership of goods shall not pass until the goods have been paid for in full.
  • We may hold back shipment on orders on accounts where payment is overdue, or in case payment has not been made fully in advance of a shipment, or if payment has not cleared yet.
  • In case of any dispute, the customer has no right to withhold any payment for merchandise shipped to the customer, services rendered or services partially rendered to the Customer. Global Phone & Security cc shall be entitled to recover all legal cost  from the customer resulting from recovering overdue/outstanding amounts from the customer.
  • The “Domicilium Citandi Et Executandi” of the customer, for the purpose of recovering abovementioned costs or any other costs will be the shipping address in case of shipped merchandise and in case of service rendered the address where the services were rendered, unless stated otherwise in writing signed by a duly authorized person from Global Phone and Security cc.

  • Global Phone & Security cc reserves the right to withdraw any product with immediate effect from the Web site/Market, due to administrative error, wrong pricing, wrong information, or any other reason, without prior notice.
  • Prices quoted as installed are applicable in the Pretoria area only. Please contact us for an installation quotation outside Pretoria, or for an installation quotation of any of our other products not listed with installed price.
  • Moneys already paid will be returned to the account of origin within 3 to 7 days or as soon as the customer can be located, unless such moneys are confiscated or probably to be confiscated by the State, due to any misconduct or for any other reason.
  • Global Phone & Security cc reserves the right to modify or delete any part of these Terms and Conditions stipulated in this Web site, the content of this Site, or to add new clauses, at any time without prior notice.
  • Global Phone & Security cc will not be held liable for any damage, theft, claim, accident, or injury caused by a product or service obtained from this Web site, or the contents of this Web site.
