  • Shipping will be either with Express Mail Services (EMS), or by our chosen courier. Normally small items will be shipped by EMS and larger items by courier.

Shipping by EMS

EMS - we will ship to P.O. Box addresses; you will receive a notice from South African Post Office to collect your package within 14 days at the Post Office. (NOTE: A signature and  identification is required when collecting packages at the South African Post Office.)

EMS charges will be according to tariffs as set by South African Post Office. In case of exporting , there may also be charges from other Countries.

Shipping by a Courier

If shipped by a Courier, your package will be delivered to a South African street address. A signature and identification is required on all deliveries.

If shipping is ordered by EMS, but occurs by another courier, your package will be delivered to a South African street address. A signature and identification is required on all deliveries.

  • All items are delivered between Monday and Friday, usually between 8.00am and 17.30pm.
  • If no one is available to sign for the item at the delivery address when our carrier calls, a card will be left detailing how to arrange re-delivery or to collect the item from the carrier.
  • Delivery must be at the ground floor, at the front door of the premises; the carrier will not deliver merchandise via stairs or a lift.
  • Our carriers may charge us a fee if a delivery has to be aborted. If a delivery is aborted because the you have supplied inaccurate or incomplete information, or the delivery site has not been prepared as agreed, or you are not available on the scheduled delivery day to receive an item, we reserve the right to recover the aborted delivery charge from the yourself.
  • You will need to ensure that appropriate parking or a loading bay is available for our carrier's vehicle. You will also need to ensure there is clear access along the entire delivery route for the item ordered and the carriers moving equipment, including through all doorways.
  • You will need to ensure the installation site is clear.
  • We may ask you to complete a Heavy Goods Delivery Form to confirm these details before your order is dispatched.
  • In case of heavy items such as safes, you will need to ensure your floor loadings are not exceeded.
  • Delivery charges will be accordingly charged by our chosen courier.
  • There may be a charge if you instruct us to change your delivery address after your order has been dispatched.
  • Delivery Schedule Estimated delivery lead times are indicated for each product and can be3 TO 6 WORKING DAYS.
  • Expected delivery dates or times given by are given as a guide only. We cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred from delivery at a different date or time.
  • Orders received before 1.30pm are usually dispatched the same day.
  • If we are temporarily out of stock or in the case of bulk orders, we shall send a notice to your email address to inform you, and/or to make new arrangements.

Return Policy | Top

  • Purchases may be returned to Global Phone & Security for a refund.
  • Before returning any item, you must contact Global Security & Phones and obtain a Return Authorisation Number
  • Please call us at +27 12 548-5281 or +27 12 548-5283 for an RMN.
  • To return an item, you must contact us within fourteen days of the delivery of your order.
  • We cannot accept returns without a return authorisation number.
  • Unless we ask you to return goods directly to our supplier, all goods must be returned to Global Security & Phones, Finforum Complex Nr. 6D, C/o Dr Van der Merwe & Sefako Makgatho Rd, Pretoria, Gauteng, 0151.
  • In order to receive a refund for the merchandise, your purchase must be returned in as-new condition, in original packaging and with all manuals and accessories, including keys if applicable.
  • Please allow 14 days from date of return for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.
